Habitat sponsored Go Green Day

These women were among those who braved a wet and chilly day last Tuesday and participated in a Go Green Day sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of Towns/Union Counties.

Naturalist Elaine Delcuze conducted an outdoor classroom at Meeks Park in Blairsville pointing out the importance of and diversity of native plants and trees found in our area.

In other Habitat news, the current house under construction is nearing completion. A dedication is planned for Saturday Nov. 14th. Further details regarding this event will be published next week.
