Georgia’s legendary coach and athletic director, Vince Dooley, will visit fans in Blairsville on Thursday, November 12. Zaxby’s of Blairsville will host him for a book signing at it restaurant location on GA 515.

Described as “Dooley’s book tour of Georgia,” the popular coach will greet fans at Zaxby’s from 1:30-3:30 following his guest appearance with the Blairsville Rotary.

“Coach Dooley brings five of his latest books and artist prints and memorabilia for sale and autograph,” says publicist Sammy Smith, “and these events are fun for the Bulldog faithful across the state.” Fans may have photos made, but no outside memorabilia can be autographed because of time.

“Dooley – My Forty Years at Georgia” and “Dooley’s Playbook – the 34 Most Memorable Plays in Georgia Football History” are his most popular titles. Two additional books, “How Bout Them Dawgs” and “Hairy Dawg’s Journey through the Peach State” are written especially for children under age twelve.

Only cash or checks will be accepted at the book signing event, and it is open to the public.
