Mabel Lois Rathyen

Mrs. Mabel Lois Rathyen, age 89 of Lori Loop Blairsville passed away on Sunday December 5, 2010 at Stonehenge Assisted Living following an extended illness.  Mrs. Rathyen was born on January 3^rd, 1921 in Bayonne, NJ, the daughter of the late William Hundley and the late Margaret Mayhan.  She lived in the region for the last six years, moving here from Wayne, NJ.  Mabel was a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Rathyen.  She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Union County.  She was a very active member in the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving Mrs. Rathyen are her son and daughter in law, David and Brenda Rathyen, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  Many other relatives and friends also survive.

No services are planned at this time.  In lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family requests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church building fund.
