Blairsville School of Dance to Offer Ballroom Dance

Beginning September 6, Blairsville School of Dance will offer a new Ballroom Dance Package that is open to the community.

“We have had many callers interested in ballroom dance,” said Angela Puleo, Studio Director. “With our full schedule of ongoing classes in other styles, it’s difficult to find the time to fit it into our rotation, so we are excited to be able to offer it for four weeks this fall.”

Blairsville School of Dance has offered ballroom and Latin packages once or twice a year since its opening in 2006. Instructor Angela Puleo is a former Latin dance competitor and has trained with, among others, 9 Dance Champion Gunnar Sverrisson. The class will cover Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango and Rumba and will be held on Tuesdays, September 6 – 27 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. To register, call (706) 835-1415 or email blairsvilledance@yahoo.com.

Registration is currently ongoing for all BSoD classes, which include ballet, jazz, lyrical, clogging, hip hop, preschool dance, ballroom and more for ages 2-adult.

Blairsville School of Dance is located at 80 Blue Ridge Street in the Merchant’s Walk Plaza across from the Blairsville Police Department.
