Craig Danner Graybill

Mr. Craig Danner Graybill, age 72, of Smyrna RD, Blairsville, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Union General Hospital after a brief illness. Craig was born, November 23, 1938, in Manheim, PA a son of the late Noah B. and Evelyn Graybill. He had lived here for the past 7 years coming here from Sebring, FL. Craig was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Cuban Missle Crisis, he was in Law Enforcement for over 37 years, having served with the Sebring Police Department for 20 years and was Chief of Police. Craig was Director of Public Safety with the Sebring Airport from 1984 until 1990, and from 1990 until 2004 with Highlands County Sheriffs Department. He was of the Protestant Faith.

Surviving Craig is his wife Linda Graybill of Blairsville, GA, son, Craig D. Graybill, JR of Blairsville, GA, brother, H. D. and Joan Graybill of Kettering, OH, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
