Community, Obituaries — By Staff Report on September 28, 2011 at 10:11 amMary Day Martin, age 87 originally of Tellahoma, TN passed away September 19, 2011 in Marietta, GA. Martin was born November 8, 1923 to the late Edwin Day and Nellie Blanch Hatchett Day.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Martin Parrott, son, John “Trip” Martin, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made to the Humane Society of Blue Ridge www.humanesocietyofblueridge.org or Open Arms of Blue Ridge www.openarmsofblueridge.org.
