Dear friend and neighbor, Roberte Lee Mashburne, a long-time resident of Young Harris and then Andrews, who was also a World War II vet, went to go be with our precious Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of 9/27/11. He leaves behind his friends, his 3 daughters, his many grandchildren, his brother and his brother’s children.

“Mash” as he was affectionately called by his friends and students that he taught as a college professor of architecture in south Florida, touched our lives and hearts and has gained so much love and respect over the years.

Mash, we are proud to call you friend and will miss your presence, your love for the Lord, your outspoken witness to what He has done in your life thru hardships, and your never-ending supply of kind words and deeds. May the work He has done thru you be multiplied. See you when we get home, dear friend.
