Wayne W. Chastain

Mr. Wayne W. Chastain, age 94, of Davis RD, Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Wayne was born May 25, 1917 in Blue Ridge, GA a son of the late John B. and Marriett Wright Chastain. He owned and operated Blue Ridge Barber Shop over 51 years. He loved the outdoors and gardening. Wayne was a member of Blue Ridge Lodge # 67 F&AM and First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge.

Surviving Wayne are his wife, Imogene Chastain of Blue Ridge, sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Betty Chastain of Cherry Log and John and Lynda Chastain of Blue Ridge, three grandchildren, Johnny and Stacy Chastain, Sandi and Jeff Kiker and Jennifer and Tim Callihan, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Wayne were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2011 at the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Hawkins officiating. Music was provided by Jim Callihan. Pallbearers were Johnny Chastain, Kory Chastain, Jim Callihan, Jeff Kiker, Matthew Gray and Thomas Kay. Interment was in Old Martins Creek Cemetery.
