<p>Cynthia Clare Romig, age 61 of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.</p>
<p>Visitation and Celebration of her life is scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 1 – 3 pm at VFW Post 7807, Hiawassee, Georgia.</p>
<p>Mrs. Romig was born February 7, 1949 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to the late Stewart Boecker and Lorraine Huesman Boecker.  She was retired from Household International as a credit/collections manager and was of the Catholic Faith.</p>
<p>Mrs. Romig is survived by her husband, Jon Romig of Hiawassee, Georgia.</p>

<p><strong>Kenneth &#8220;Red&#8221; Ledford</strong></p>
<p>Kenneth &#8220;Red&#8221; Ledford, age 81 of Hayesville, NC, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 at his residence.</p>
<p>Kenneth was born in Clay County, NC to the late Richard and Lassie Mae (Donaldson) Ledford. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Pentacostal Church. He was preceded in death by his son, David L Ledford, brothers, Arvil and Garland Ledford, sisters, Ruth Stamey, Opal Hughes and Betty Davis. Kenneth was an avid hunter and fisherman, a very talented musician and loved his friends and fellow musicians at Penland&#8217;s Store. He loved his great-grandchildren and loved to give them money.</p>
<p>Survivors include his wife Louise Ledford of Hayesville, NC, life long friend and companion, Ruth Ledford of Hayesville, NC, daughter &amp; son-in-law, Fleta &amp; Charles Norton of Loganville, GA, daughter &amp; son-in-law, Shirley &amp; Stephen Sellers of Hayesville, NC, daughter &amp; son-in-law, Peggy &amp; Danny Sedberry of Troy, NC, daughter &amp; son-in-law, Patsy &amp; Mike Gribble of Hayesville, NC, daughter, Pam McClure of Hayesville, NC, daughter-in-law, Sharon Ledford of Hayesville, NC, sister &amp; brother-in-law, Janet &amp; June Ledford Candler, NC, sister &amp; brother-in-law, Mattie &amp; Ray Stillwell of Hayesville, NC, brother sister-in-law, Alvin &amp; Henrietta Ledford of Hayesville, NC, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 10 step-great grandchildren.</p>
<p>Funeral services were held Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee, GA with Rev. Bill Dyer officiating. Music was provided by David Anderson and others. Interment was in Myers Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Chuck Norton, Dan Norton, Scott Ledford, Jason Gribble, Justin McClure and Dylan Sellers. Honorary pallbearer was Jeremy McClure.</p>

<p>Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Hayesville, North Carolina.  The Reverend John Rice will officiate.  Interment will be private.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Regency Hospice, 236 South Main Street, Hiawassee, Georgia 30546; or to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, P.O. Box 677 Hayesville, North Carolina 28904.</p>
<p>She will sadly be missed by all of her friends and family.</p>

<p>Robert Lorne Foreman, 81 of Hiawassee Georgia died Thursday August 26,.2010 at Chatuge Nursing home in Hiawassee following an extended illness.Mr.Foreman was born March 24, 1929 in Windsor Ontario Canada to the late Rev, Sidney Robert Foreman and Greta Cooper Foreman.Mr.Foreman was happily married for fifty nine years to his wife Joan Horne Foreman.  He attended Queens University in Kingston Ontario Canada and served in both the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Royal Canadian Navy.  Bob’s love of aviation began as a young child and continued throughout his life. Bob was also a gifted woodworker. Bob was an active member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church ,delivered  Meals on Wheels and a member of the Lions Club;.Bob enjoyed volunteering with the Licklog Community Theatre and the Young Harris College Theatre.</p>
<p>Survivors include his loving wife,Joan Foreman of Hiawassee,two sons and one daughter in law,Bruce Foreman of Toronto,Ontario Canada,David and Mary Anne Foreman of Lancaster Ontario,Canada,one daughter and son in law,Sandra and Wesley Pethel of Gainesville,GA.,one brother and sister in law,Ted and Sue Foreman,one sister and brother in law,Valerie and Keith Farrell all of Vancover,six grandchildren,Catherine Foreman Crawford,Alison foreman,Mary Caitlin Pethel,Madison Pethel,Callum Foreman-Tran and Kira Foreman-Tran,many other relatives and friends also survive.</p>
<p>A memorial service will be held on Wednesday Sept.1,2010 at 2:00pm from the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Hayesville,NC. with Father John Rice officiating.Special music will be presented by Jerry Taylor.In lieu of flowers,the family requests that donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in memory of Bob.The family will meet with friends following the services at the church.</p>

<p>Surviving Mr.Kluth are his loving wife,Pia McGill Kluth of Blairsville,step father,Charles Griffin of Blairsville,his children,Zachary and wife Angela Kluth of Chicago,IL.,Cooper and Jonah Kluth of Blairsville,Isaac and Matthew Beise of Blairsville,one sister,Anna Kluth of Blairsville,three brothers and one sister in law,Eugene and Marilyn Kluth,Fred Kluth and Brian Kluth all of Chicago,IL.,two grandchildren,Payton and Skyler,many other relatives and friends also survive.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be held on Sunday Aug.29,2010 at 2:00pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev.Jerry Helton officiating.The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers,Isaac Beise,Matthew Beise,Tim Sullivan,Don Bohl,Don Morris and Elijah Morris.Interment will follow in the House of Prayer Church Cemetery.The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6-8pm.</p>

<p>Surviving Pete are his father and step mother,Buddy and Peggy King of Blairsville,two daughters,Alex and Ashton King of Blairsville,one brother,Douglas King of Cumming,GA.,three sisters and brother in laws,Debra Ann and Bud Gable of Royceton,GA.,Rhonda and Doug Webb of Blairsville,Amy and Vick Botts of Blairsville,several nieces,nephews,many other relatives also survive.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 25,201 at 11:00am from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev.Ray Potts and Rev.Cotton Harris officiating.Special music will be presented by the Benny Shook Family.The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers,Tim and Johnny Hopkins,Sammy Berrong,Clifford Gable,Josh Step,Chance and Vick Botts and Steven King.In lieu of flowers if you wish,the family requests that donations may made to help defray expenses.The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-9pm.</p>

<p>Mrs. Mildred T. Wilson, age 95, of Hiawassee, GA passed away August 19, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence C. Wilson. She is survived by a loving family including daughters Pennye Loftin and Patti Bransford, son-in-law James Bransford, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. After a long and happy life she thoughtfully and generously donated her body to the Medical College of Georgia. No services are planned. The family asks those who wish to remember her in some way to please plant a flower or tree in their own yard – and whenever it gives them pleasure, to remember her and know that she will be enjoying it too! <p>Lorelei Ann Kisling, age 69, of Young Harris, passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 following an extended illness.</p>
<p>She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Edward Wasmund and Elizabeth Barker Wasmund.  A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Dental Assisting, she was a member of the Minnesota Dental Association.</p>
<p>She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Thomas Kisling of Young Harris; daughters, Cindy Lickey (David) and Sheryl Kisling (Eddie Torres); brothers, Robert Wasmund and Frederick Wasmund.  She was the “Granna” to her four grandchildren, Jason Lickey, Sean Lickey (Jennifer), Josh Lickey, and Joey Torregrosa; and four great grandchildren, Brandon Lickey, Hannah Lickey, Mitchell Lickey, and Michael Lickey.</p>
<p>A memorial service was 12:30 P.M. Thursday, August 12, 2010 in the Chapel of Banister Funeral Home.  The Reverend Rayburn Wilson officiated.  Interment was private.</p>
<p>Banister Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.</p>

<p>She is survived by her husband, Barnett Gibson of Hiawassee; mother, Leola Morgan of Hiawassee; daughters, Tanya Gibson of Hiawassee and Tedra Savage of Maysville; sons, Tommy Gibson of Cleveland and Gary Gibson of Winder; brother, Monroe Morgan of Hiawassee; sister, Denise Bellew of Blairsville; nine grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.</p>
<p>Funeral services were 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 20, 2010 in the Chapel of Banister Funeral Home with the Reverend Lewis Welch officiating.  Interment was in Lower Bell Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.</p>
